Harvest Mice

Updated: Aug 19

Something a little different - Harvest mice.

It's important to state that the mice are not wild, they have been bred and live in captivity. That said, they are extremely well looked after and their welfare and modelling duties are carefully regulated by external inspection. The mice climb on the natural props, much as they might in the wild, to access food. When they have had enough to eat they take themselves off to bed and your photography session ends. The mice then have a mandatory 24-hour break before they can be photographed again.

Miles Herbert, who runs the workshop and looks after the mice, clearly adores them and they appear at complete ease with him. The whole setup results in a wonderful photographic experience with the most charming and delightful little animals. For further information check out Mile's website https://captivelight.co.uk/
