This gallery contains images from summer and autumn visits to Finland, specifically, the Bear Centre near Vartius.  The different seasons offer very different photographic experiences.  In the summer, the nights never truly get dark, offering long hours of warm light that bathes the vivid greens of the forest and swamps.  Autumn has dark nights and therefore shorter periods for photography, but the environment is ablaze with orange, yellow and red, making for beautiful images.

Most of the Bear Centre hides overlook small lakes offering the possibility of stunning reflections.  It really is a beautiful place.
